Top of block with valve train components
    The picture above illustrates the hydraulic roller tappets, the aluminum roller rocker arms, and the intake side of the CNC ported heads. The tappets and pushrods are from Comp Cams (#853-12 & #7830-1, respectively). The pushrods were replaced later with Manley 5/16"D chrome moly steel units (#25745). Harland Sharp aluminum roller rocker arms (#6003) with a 1.6:1 ratio are used. It can be observed in the photo that the towers had to be notched to clear the roller rocker arms. Champion CNC ported and polished heads are used. The intake ports were matched to the intake manifold.
    The pictures below have the ported intake manifold bolted in place. One picture shows the plenum floor with the smoothed ports. The EGR passage had a plug welded in after porting. The original plenum was matched to the throttle body also. The manifold was fully deburred and clear coated.
