| A Prompaq EEPROM selector is mounted behind the glove box. A custom steel mounting plate fastens the unit to existing bosses on the HVAC ducts. The supplied EEPROM cable was lengthened. The DB37 connector was replaced by a smaller and more manageable DB24 connector. The GAL and 74000 chips were replaced by faster ones. I'd like to thank Greg for the cable work and Mike for his assistance with selecting the faster chips and arranging to transfer the information on the GAL. |
