| These pictures illustrate the liquid cooled intercooler system. The top photograph shows the system with custom fabricated heat exchanger mounts. The next two pictures show the mounted intercooler. A custom flange was fabricated and welded to the top of the intercooler to allow for a fill neck and radiator cap to provide a controlled pressurized cooling system. A coolant recovery bottle for the intercooler is partly visible too. The bottle has its own custom bracket. That is followed by a picture from underneath to show the hose connections and routing. The pump is mounted to the outside of the frame behind the front bumper. The last two pictures show the front heat exchanger with its custom mounts. Existing holes in the radiator support were utilized. The transmission cooler is slightly visible also. |
